Lock Mode

Lock mode locks RM1 to it's core functionality, only allowing to control channel on/off, headphone and speaker volume on the integrated touch display as well as locking in to live view on the Web UI.

What is Lock Mode

Lock Mode locks RM1 to only control it's basic functions.

warning

Lock mode can only be disabled directly on the hardware, not via the web ui.

On the integrated touch display, the home page is locked:

  • Channel on/off via the buttons is still allowed
  • Setting headphone and speaker volume is still allowed
  • Swipe is disabled
  • Channel access is disabled

On the web ui, live view is locked:

  • Channel on/off and channel faders are still enabled
  • Setting headphone and speaker volume is still allowed
  • Navigation to edit and settings views is disabled
  • Clicking the channel names to enter edit view is disabled

Lock RM1

To lock RM1 via the integrated touch display:

  • Navigate to Settings > Device and select Lock Mode

Or

  • On the home view, press and hold both buttons as well as the encoder knob for 5 seconds, until Device locked notification appears

To lock RM1 viad the web ui:

  • Navigate to Settings and select Lock Mode

Unlock RM1

To unlock RM1 again, on the integrated touch display:

  • Press and hold both buttons as well as the encoder knob for 5 seconds, until Device unlocked notification appears
